Africa Fashion Week Kicks Off in London

London is due to be treated to the finest of cultural ingenuity in the African fashion industry. The 2019 Africa Fashion Week London (AFWL) kicks off tomorrow at the U.K capital with thousands of participants registered to showcase a modern African cultural experience. This year\’s event is poised to chalk a significant milestone with the inclusion of several commercial facets designed to enhance the experience of attendees and exhibitors. It is set to feature the African Market Souk, Talk Fashion Business, Luxury Boutique, African Food Village, and a Fashion Show.

The fashion week is Europe\’s most culturally-diverse fashion and trade exhibition with more than 3.3million views across multiple platforms. Since its inception in 2011, it has witnessed the participation of 900 emerging designers showcasing their products to 70,000 attendees. More than 30 African countries are expected to participate in the event.
